My work involves a unique technique I developed during my master’s studies at the Royal College of Art. This technique focuses on discovering and utilizing a specific texture of clay, which I pipe into a mold to create my distinctive ceramic objects. This innovative process has been instrumental in achieving the refined aesthetic and functional quality that define my pieces.
By manipulating the texture of the clay and mastering the piping technique, I am able to produce intricate and precise designs that embody my signature style. This method allows for the creation of objects that seamlessly blend sculptural beauty with practical utility, enhancing the tactile and visual experience of my work.
My dedication to material-led thinking and experimental processes not only sets my work apart but also showcases my commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional ceramic techniques. The result is a collection of lighting, sculptural pieces, and fine dining tableware that stands out for its elegance, precision, and innovative use of materials.
